![]() ![]() When you don’t know which burger to eat first… The beef patty, American cheese and bacon create the traditional delicious burger foundation and the avocado spread and sunny egg just set it off. It was so popular they are bringing it back this spring and you can get it from April 1st until the end of June! Y’all I love this burger it is so classic with a little extra something. Well, of course my favorite thing on the menu is the burger I got to create myself! The Stacks team let me dream up this burger last year and they featured it as their burger special in May. The Stephanie Forrer Stack: 4oz burger, American, bacon, sunny egg, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato and caramel onion The Beast: 12oz beef, American, bacon, crispy onion strings, house-made bbq sauce Korean BBQ Stack: 4oz beef, cheddar, bacon, crispy onion strings, house-made bbq sauceįried Chicken Stack: fried chicken, swiss, bacon, house slaw, pickles, pesto aioli Loaded Skillet Fries with Chicken, Bacon, Ranch and Queso Blanco Here are my favorite things happening on the menu right now at Stacks: One of the most important things about a burger is the bread and how it holds up and this bread passes with flying colors. They use Tillamook Cheese from northern Oregon, fresh produce from Sterino Farms in Puyallup and finish their little masterpieces with toasty buns from Federal Way’s The Bread Garden, which by the way are some of the most perfect burger buns I have ever put in my mouth. I happen to know the Stacks team has actually taken the time to visit the ranch and see where their beef comes from so they know they’re providing their customers with excellent quality from a Pacific Northwest farm. Their signature 4oz hand formed patties are made from 100% grass fed, hormone free, pasture raised northwest beef from Double R Ranch in northeastern Washington state. There are a lot of reasons I love Stacks, but the biggest is the commitment they have to quality, local ingredients and farms. I made the short journey down a couple weeks ago to try some of the new things on the menu and to help recreate the Stephanie Forrer Burger, the stack I created last year that’s going to be resurrected and available as a special from April to June! I love them so much in fact, that I will go all the way down to Federal Way for lunch there (and if you know me, you know getting me to leave my little downtown bubble is quite the task). I’ve had a bit of an obsession ever since I discovered them at the Bite of Seattle in 2016. Our premium shakes are handmade and spun to order with 100% real Darigold ice cream at our shake station, putting you in charge of creating the perfect blend of flavors with toppings that include local berries, toasted coconut, candies, and much more. It’s no secret that I adore Stacks Burgers.
